Splitsvilla10 contestant Nibedita Pal is very excited at the trailer launch of her new ALTBalaji and Zee5 web series Class of 2020.
“My social media account is inundated with congratulatory messages,” says she.
Talking about her character, Nibedita says, “Zoyi, the new hot girl in school, is the cynosure of all the boy’s attention, hence also attract the jealousy of the female crowd getting her into trouble as well.”
How bold is your character? “Zoyi is just like any other seventeen year old with her hormones acting up, she also experiences her first kiss. Our 30 episoder is one of the longest desi web series. We plan to launch it in 3 installments of 10 episodes, each starting 4th February. The subsequent episodes will stream a few days later.” (we had written about it a few days back)
“The makers have rightly chosen the Valentine’s Day month to tap the flavour of teenage love, which is the mainstay of our Vikas Gupta produced show” says she.
Furthermore, she adds, “Splitsvilla being a reality show, did not require acting, and you only had to be yourself. However, a fiction show like Class of 2020 is a different kettle of fish, and I have worked hard on it, hope you like the final result.”
Nibedita, who has one more Prime Flix horror web series in kitty, is now looking forward to more juicy work across all platforms, be it TV, web or films.”
She is also open for TV fiction, “which now is much more modern and grander than before.”
