Ajit Thakur, as per sources, has put down his papers
News coming in from highly placed sources suggest that industry veteran Ajit Thakur has resigned from his position at Reliance Industries.
He had joined the newly announced Media and Entertainment Business of Reliance Industries as the Head of Film Studios. Jyoti Deshpande, who heads the entity as President of the Chairman’s Office. Prior to this assignment Ajit Thakur was the CEO of Trinity Pictures that was part of the Eros India since February 2015.
Says a source: “Ajit was abroad when his name got embroiled in the #metoo controversy. He returned India today and have gone on to put down the papers.”
We tried to solicit a comment from Ajit but he remained unavailable.
