Applause Entertainment, the content studio from the Aditya Birla Group, led by Sameer Nair, who had commenced filming Mind The Malhotras, has wrapped up shoot.
Based on Israeli comedy “La Famiglia”, Mind The Malhotras follows the lives of a perfectly normal suburban South Mumbai family with many reasons to be happy, and even more reasons to go for therapy.
Mini Mathur and Cyrus Sahukar play the lead roles. Anandita Pagnis, Nikki Sharma and Jason D’Souza will be seen as their onscreen children in the show. It also features Sushmita Mukherjee as the grandmother.
Apart from being the show runner, Sahil Sangha is also co-directing this show under Born Free Entertainment along with Ajay Bhuyan.
Now, we hear, Ali Fazal has been roped in for a day’s cameo in the series.
We buzzed Ali but he remained unavailable for comment.
