ZEE5 will be coming up with an interesting web-series which will have 12 stories of Ruskin Bond that will be based on his popular ghost stories. The episodes will be shot by award-winning directors V.K. Prakash and Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury.
IWMBuzz.com has already reported about Payal Nair being part of one of the stories titled ‘Overcoat’.
We now hear that this reincarnation based story will have a good ensemble cast comprising of actors Anju Mahendroo, Raima Sen, Saloni Batra and Sajjad Delafrooz.
Anju Mahendroo who was seen in Mariam Khan – Reporting Live will play a crucial role along with Payal Nair.
Raima Sen who is known for her vast body of work in movies will play one of the leads. Saloni Batra who is slated to feature in the Netflix movie Soni will be the other lead.
Sajjad Delafrooz who played the terrifying villain Abu Usman in Salman Khan’s film, Tiger Zinda Hai will play the male lead.
We buzzed actors but could not get through to them.
We reached out to the spokesperson at ZEE5, but did not get revert.
The first story of this series will stream on 15 January on ZEE5. Titled Parchayee, the episode will have Farida Jalal and Sara Jane Dias playing central roles.
