Anupam Kher is one of the finest actors in the industry. He isn’t just someone who portrays his characters to the best but consciously chooses tricky topics to address, acknowledge, and teach others. Which is why he is recognized as someone who reinvents ideas, thoughts, conceptions, and stories to present them with a different perspective in front of the audience. And rightfully, IWMBuzz Digital Awards Season 8 on June 16 honored the talented actor with the Reinvention Icon Award for his contribution in the entertainment world.
Sharing the photos from the event last night, the legendary actor Anupam Kher penned a big note on his social media, thanking the platform for recognizing him, and he also explained what reinvention truly means.
Anupam wrote, “REINVENTION ICON AWARD! Delighted to receive the #ReinventionIconAward last night at the IWM Buzz Digital & OTT Awards.”
He further defined what reinvention is for him: “For me, reinvention is not just about being an actor. It is a way of life. The moment you stop reinventing yourself, you stop growing. Reinvention demands one very important quality—the courage to fail. If you are not afraid of failure, you are willing to explore new paths, learn new lessons, and discover new versions of yourself.”
The actor added, highlighting that he chooses to be a student for his life, as when one stops learning, even life stops teaching you, and there one’s growth stops. “It also helps to not take yourself, or even your achievements, too seriously. Success is wonderful, but it should never become a burden. The day you start believing you have arrived, life quietly stops teaching you.
