As per reports in Times of India and NDTV, stand-up comedian Munawwar Faruqui who was earlier arrested under section 295A (Outraging religious feelings) and other counts because of apparently insulting Hindu Gods and deities has been finally granted interim bail by the Supreme Court today.
He was earlier arrested for allegedly passing objectionable comments against Hindu Gods during a comedy show in Indore.
