Asur the spectacularly brilliant thriller series which streamed on Voot Select will soon be back with its Season 2. The series in its first edition was produced by Tanveer Bookwala’s Ding Entertainment. The series was directed by Oni Sen.
Now in its second season, the series will not be produced by Ding Entertainment. Instead, it is being produced by Bombay Fables Motion Pictures and will be directed by Oni Sen.
News coming to us is that while the plot will see a story forward from where it had ended in Season 1, there will be few new and interesting additions with regards to characters in Season 2.
Actress Adithi Kalkunte who has been seen in projects like Hotel Mumbai, Special 26, Krrish 3 etc, will be an engaging new addition to the cast of Asur 2.
Yes, you heard it right!!
As per a reliable source, “Asur 2 is on floor at the moment and work is progressing swiftly.”
Asur which was set amid the backdrop of the mystical city of Varanasi had Arshad Warsi, Barun Sobti, Anupriya Goenka, Ridhi Dogra, Amey Wagh, Gaurav Arora in the main cast.
We buzzed the spokesperson at Voot but did not get revert.
