Asur the extremely successful Voot Select series will soon be back with Season 2. The series in its first edition for produced by Tanveer Bookwala’s Ding Entertainment. But now, Bombay Fables Motion Pictures is producing the series in its second edition. Asur 2 is directed by Onir Sen and creatively helmed by Gaurav Shukla.
Asur which was set amid the backdrop of the mystical city of Varanasi had Arshad Warsi, Barun Sobti, Anupriya Goenka, Ridhi Dogra, Amey Wagh, Gaurav Arora in the main cast.

We now hear of Jersey fame actor Ajoy Chakraborty being roped in for a pivotal role.
As per a reliable source, “Ajoy will be seen playing a cop.”
We buzzed Ajoy but did not get through to him.
