Starz’s India-based streamer Lionsgate Play is all set to roll out a new series named U Special. The story is directed by Karwaan director Akarsh Khurana, who is also the showrunner. Adhaar Khurana, who worked as an assistant director on Karwaan, is co-directing.
It has an ensemble cast that includes Sumeet Vyas, Arjun Mathur, Parambrata Chatterjee, Rukshar Dhillon, Taaruk Raina, Gopal Datt and Ahsaas Channa, among others.

Now we hear, talented actors Danish Sood (Hostages and A Suitable Boy) and Kavya Trehan (If Only and Quin) have bagged the project.
