Gaurav Gera is one of Indian entertainment’s most versatile and enduring performers, transitioning across television, digital creator space, and mainstream cinema over a career spanning more than two decades. He is best known as Nandu in Jassi Jaisi Koi Nahin and as Chutki in the digital space. Refusing to be boxed into comedy, Gera underwent a dramatic artistic transformation in Aditya Dhar’s spy thriller franchise Dhurandhar. He received massive recognition in the role of Mohammad Aalam—a covert Indian operative operating under the guise of a local juice vendor in the movie.
Now, we hear that Gaurav Gera is likely to play the leading man in Triangle Films’ upcoming web series, which will be a social drama, with the backdrop of UP. The tentative title, we hear, for the series is Bura Na Maaniye Koi.
A little birdie tells us, “Talks are presently on with Sony LIV for the series.”
Triangle Films, a renowned banner in the TV space, has bankrolled many successful projects like Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev, Siya Ke Ram, Baba Aisa Varr Dhoondo, etc. Presently, the banner is also into the vertical medium, making mythological concepts in a shorter format.
