Seasoned actress Gurdip Punjj, who has made her classy presence felt in recent projects on TV and OTT platforms like Vanshaj, Lakshmi Niwas, Taara, Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain, etc, will soon be seen in an upcoming JioHotstar series, which will be in the comedy genre.
Though not much is known about the concept of the series, we hear that the narrative will be packed with fun and humour. The series will be produced by Film Jungle Entertainment for JioHotstar.
Coming to Gurdip, her breakthrough role was in Sanjivani, after which she moved effortlessly between playing positive leads and complex negative characters. Her cameo performance recently in Zee TV’s Lakshmi Niwas alongside Gashmeer Mahajani was well-received. She was about to play a powerful role in a Colors TV presentation, which was scrapped.
Now, we hear Gurdip will challenge herself in an outright comic role in this fun genre series.
