Versatile actor Gaurav Sharma who is popular for his portrayal of Moses Alexander in Inside Edge, has bagged an interesting cameo role in Netflix’s upcoming series Scoop helmed by Hansal Mehta.

We at IWMBuzz.com have reported exclusively about actors Manasi Rachh, Dhairya Karwa, Deven Bhojani, Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub, Mehul Kajaria, Pankaj Vishnu, Ninad Kamat, Atul Kale, Alekh Sangal and Ravish Desai being part of the series. As per reports in the media, Karishma Tanna will be seen in the lead role of a crime journalist Jagruti Pathak.

‘Scoop’ is a character drama that traces the journey of Jagruti Pathak, an ambitious crime journalist. Her world comes crashing down when she is charged for the heinous murder of a fellow journalist, Jaideb Sen and ends up in a prison cell with those she once reported on. The project is inspired by the biographical book from journalist Jigna Vora, ‘Behind The Bars In Byculla: My Days in Prison’.

We now hear of the Udta Punjab actor Gaurav Sharma will play an interesting role.
