Kenisha Bhardwaj, who is presently seen in Dangal TV’s Pati Brahmachari, recently shot for her debut on the much-happening vertical medium for Kuku TV. The series, produced by Eunoia Productions, is about a girl who gets married at a very young age and adjusts to the new ambience of marital life, only to be betrayed by her best friend and husband. The series has a Rajasthani backdrop and has a gripping story plot. It is about betrayal in love and its aftermath.
Kenisha is paired with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai actor Karan Mehra, who plays her husband in the series. While Karan’s character is negative, Kenisha portrays the lead opposite him.
Kenisha is happy to have had the best experience on the vertical medium with the production house and her co-actors. Actress Simran Khanna of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fame plays her friend who will betray her.
Says Kenisha, “I was apprehensive about doing vertical concepts. I have been busy as my show on Dangal TV, Pati Brahmachari, is doing well. When I was told that I would share screen space with a senior actor like Karan Mehra Sir, I accepted it. I felt very confident performing alongside him. He mentored me well and taught me a lot of nuances about shooting on the vertical medium. He is a positive person, and working with seniors like him is a great experience.”
“I am choosy about the genres and kind of work that I pick. I liked my first experience shooting for the vertical medium. It is always nice to explore newer mediums and platforms as a performer,” she says.
