Actor Mehul Nisar, famous for his portrayal of Anupamaa’s brother in the popular show, will be seen in an interesting and unusual role in creator Ishika Shahi’s new concept for the Director’s Kut YouTube Channel, titled Heer Sharma Gayi.
Yes, we at IWMBuzz.com wrote exclusively about actors Tushar Dhembla and Debattama Saha playing the leads in this romance cum family drama. This is Ishika Shahi’s next YouTube concept after the well-received series Jabb Zodiacs Met, which was a unique concept that dealt with the relatable challenges each sun sign faces in search of love. The 12-episode series featured Anupamaa and Bigg Boss 19 winner Gaurav Khanna as the narrator, with popular actors playing varied lead roles. The series was produced by her father Rajan Shahi’s banner Director’s Kut Productions, and was conceptualised by her mother, Pearl Grey.

Now, we hear that Mehul will play a quirky and interesting role in the series. Mehul is presently seen in Colors TV’s new show Dr Aarambhi, as part of the main Tandon family.
When contacted, Mehul confirmed the news, saying, “Yes, I can only say that I am a part of the series. I am thankful to Rajan Sir for always keeping me in his thoughts and giving me roles that suit me. This is a very different role when compared to mine in Anupamaa.”
We buzzed Ishika Shahi but did not get through to her.
Ishika is also on the verge of starting shoot for yet another YouTube series, which will have Mishkat Varma and Priyanshi Yadav in the lead roles.
