Mihir Ahuja, the heartthrob actor who played the role of Ghuppi in the recently released web series Shabad, in an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz, opened up on choosing this project and his character in the series, highlighting that he relates to his reel character and that he is something like that character.
In an exclusive interview with IWMBuzz journalist Sweta Gupta, when asked what Mihir’s reaction was when he first saw his character and what he felt seeing himself on the poster in that character. Mihir said, “Actually I have played a Sardar before, I did a show called Feels Like Ishq, that came I got an opportunity in that to play a 17 years old charcter (Sardar) and then when I got this, it was like wow and when I read the script for the first time, it was such a beautiful script of this, I could relate to the character a lot.”
Further, he added, “My character’s story is that he wants to become a footballer, and he is dreaming big, and the story is an inspiration for the youngsters today, and this story is telling them to dream big. No dream is small, and you should dream big, and every dream does come true.”
Mihir also gave an example of how he and co-star Savinderpal Vicky dreamed of becoming actors but didn’t have an idea where to start, nor did he or his family have any connections here, but it did work.
