IWMBuzz.com has been exclusively reporting about Netflix’s upcoming series Scoop by Hansal Mehta. The project is inspired by the biographical book from journalist Jigna Vora, ‘Behind The Bars In Byculla: My Days in Prison’. As per reports in the media, Scoop on Netflix will see Karishma Tanna in the lead role of a crime journalist Jagruti Pathak.
‘Scoop’ is a character drama that traces the journey of Jagruti Pathak, an ambitious crime journalist. Her world comes crashing down when she is charged for the heinous murder of a fellow journalist, Jaideb Sen and ends up in a prison cell with those she once reported on.
We had earlier informed fans about Mehul Kajaria and Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub being roped in for the project. We now hear that talented actor Pankaj Vishnu, who has entertained masses in projects like Pavitra Rishta, Tujhse Hai Raabta, Ghoul, The Big Bull, has joined the ensemble cast to play a pivotal role in the series.
