Actress Rachana Mistry, who was last seen in the powerful titular role in Zee TV’s Jagriti Ek Nayi Subah, will be seen in a challenging role on the vertical medium. As we know, the boom of the vertical medium has drawn actors to explore the new medium and enjoy the creative freedom they get by being part of unusually challenging concepts.
Rachana makes an entry into the vertical medium with the upcoming venture of Agastaya Jain’s banner, Creators Retina Entertainment. Recently, we had written about the banner coming up with a romantic drama, ‘Say You Remember Say You Love’, with Anupamaa actor Adhik Mehta and Neerja Ek Nayi Pehchaan actress Aastha Sharma.

Now, we hear that Rachana will be seen in the upcoming concept. Giving her company as the male lead will be Mohit Kumar of Ek Duje Ke Vaaste 2, Sab Satrangi fame. The concept will be a romantic thriller, with a huge scope for performance for both actors.

The production house also bankrolled a web series titled Vinny Ki Kitaab for Hungama OTT. The banner has worked with prolific actors like Sharad Malhotra, Pravisht Mishra, Karamm Rajpal, Kaveri Priyam, Vivek Dahiya, Abhishek Kapur, Navika Kotia and many others. The rise of vertical medium content, as we know, is driven by the fact that the majority of smartphone viewers find it natural to consume content on their mobile phones.
