Producer Rahul Tewary, who has given the television viewing audience compelling shows like Udne Ki Aasha, Jagadhatri, Ram Bhavan, etc., will come up with a period drama for the vertical medium. Yes, the exciting project will be for Story TV. The platform is known for its diverse, engaging plots when it comes to microdramas. Their concepts involving supernatural fantasies, love and revenge dramas, crime thrillers, family conflict and many more have provided viewers ample variety.
Now Story TV will come up with its first period drama tale shot vertically.
We hear that popular actors Himanshu Soni, Samiksha Jaiswal and Meer Ali will play the main roles. While Himanshu will be the main lead, Meer will be the main antagonist. The concept is believed to be a love story amid the ambience of negative forces.
Himanshu is expected to play a man smitten in love. Samiksha Jaiswal plays the leading lady. Meer’s antagonistic portrayal will remind viewers of the 80’s villains like Ranjeet, Shakti Kapoor and others.
