Exclusive: Rashami Desai replaces Shweta Tiwari in Saurabh Tewari’s Voot series

Saurabh Tewari's Vot series will see Rashami Desai taking the place of Shweta Tiwari.

Popular actress Shweta Tiwari was slated to play an important cameo role in Saurabh Tewari’s upcoming web series for Voot. Tentatively titled Shankar Sankat Haran, the series will have Ravi Dubey playing the lead. We at IWMBuzz.com have been at the forefront, having reported exclusively about Ravi Dubey, Bhuvnesh Mann, Rashmi Agdekar, Shweta Tiwari, Ali Asgar joining the cast of the show.

But now, the latest development is that Shweta Tiwari will not be part of the series. She has opted out owing to date issues. In her place comes popular actress Rashami Desai. Rashami who was last seen in Naagin, will play the cameo role now.

We buzzed Rashami and Shweta but did not get through to them.

We reached out to the spokesperson at Voot but did not get revert till we filed the story.
