Recently, a video of Rajpal Yadav surfaced from an event where Saurabh Dwivedi and Zakir Khan were the hosts, and during a candid moment, Yadav was talking about the value of dollars and rupees, and Saurabh indirectly mentioned the actor’s personal life struggle, saying no matter ‘he will have to repay’ referring to his cheque bounce case. While it was done comically and the actor also took it lightly, this incident didn’t sit well with netizens and fans.
Fans targeted Saurabh for his remarks with brutal comments, and many demanded a public apology from the anchor, highlighting that what he did was unacceptable and that he cannot insult anyone like this.
A user wrote, “We need a public apology. You must give a public apology to @rajpalofficial. What you did was unacceptable. Kisike bure waqt ka mazaak udana bahut bekaar chizzz hai. Yaad rakho audience ne tumhe ab yahi audience tumhe girayegiii. Public apology chahiye.”
The second said, “Rajpal yadav ka majak bhari mehfil mei aisa udaya tumne, jaise lakho madad kro ho, ghamand bol rha hai Guroor to ravan ka bhi ni rha tha.”

Clarifying the buzz, Rajpal himself shared a video on his Instagram, asking fans not to target Saurabh and Zakir, explaining that sometimes in cinema, what we imagine a scene to be is conveyed in the wrong way. He even called Saurabh and Zakir his younger brothers.
In addition, Salman Khan reacted to this incident, taking a strong stand for Rajpal Yadav, valuing his contribution in the industry, and claiming that he will continue to get work, that too on dollar rates. He also praised his work.
