Disney Plus Hotstar is all set to launch web series Crime Next Door which was earlier named Red Chalk. The series is produced by Neeljai Films and Kara Studio and is directed by Deepankar Prakash, who is known for his award-winning short films such as Masakkali, Kaagpanth, Podarok, and Naked Voice.
We at IWMBuzz.com exclusively reported about actors Anupria Goenka, Sahil Vaid, Deepti Devi, Vatsal Sheth, Yashpal Sharma and Mohan Kapur being part of the above-mentioned series which is shot in Jaipur (Rajasthan).
Now, we hear actors Girish Kulkarni and Ipshita Chakraborty will feature in the series. Girish is well known for Marathi films and to Hindi audiences for his role in the Aamir Khan starrer Dangal and Anurag Kashyap’s movie Ugly. Ipshita is a theatre and film actress and is known for her work in films like Chhapaak and Shakuntala Devi.
We reached out to the actors and the spokesperson at Hotstar but could not get revert.
