IWMBuzz.com has been updating the audience about ZEE5’s upcoming web series Black Tornado.
Produced by Abhimanyu Singh under the production house Contiloe Pictures Private Ltd, the story is adapted from Black Tornado: The Three Sieges of Mumbai 26/11, a bestselling book by Sandeep Unnithan, detailing this multi-pronged terrorist attack, that plunged the city in chaos.
We had earlier exclusively reported about actors Vivek Dahiya, Sid Makkar, Tara Alisha Berry, Khalida Jaan being part of the project.
Now, we hear talented actress Jyoti Gauba, who has a huge body of work on TV and movies has joined the cast. Jyoti will play the role of Vivek’s on-screen mother. On the other hand, Roshni Sahota, who was last seen in Patiala Babes has also bagged the series.
When contacted Jyoti, she confirmed the news and shared, “I am really happy to be a part of ZEE5 series Black Tornado. It is completely based on the 26/11 attacks and it is a very sensitive topic. Though it’s been 8 years since this incidence took place but yet today the thought of it gives goosebumps. I feel sad for those families who have lost their near and dear ones in this attack. I hope our younger generation learns from the mishaps faced by the families who became a target in this from this web series and practices a peaceful lifestyle, which is very important for each and every individual in the country.”
While Roshni remained unavailable for comment.
We buzzed the producer and ZEE5 spokesperson but there was no revert till the time of filing the article.
