ALT Balaji, the OOT platform, is all set to beam Ragini MMS on the web, titled Ragini MMS 2.0. The plot is a horrex (horror and sex).
Lost Boy Productions, helmed by talented Vikas Gupta, is weaving the story for the digital audience and it promises to be a clutter breaker watching experience.
Indianwikimedia has learnt that Karishma Sharma has been brought on board to the play the titular role of Ragini.
Karishma has been a part of the industry for some time now (Pavitra Rishta, YHM) but Ragini MMS will be her claim to super popularity.
When we called her to congratulate, she shared with a beaming smile, “It’s really a great opportunity for me and I would like to thank Ekta m’aam (Kapoor) and Vikas for choosing me for the role. I am looking forward to the shoot.”
Ragini MMS on ALT will soon go on floors and other cast members of the project are Gaurav Sharma (Waaris) and Twinkle Tenzing (MTV BIG F).
Vikas, on his part, shared with Indianwikimedia: “Collaborating with Ekta on Ragini MMS 2.0, a Balaji successful film franchise, is an absolutely great opportunity. Turning the film into a cutting edge young web series is a task the team is immensely excited about..”
When we asked Vikas to confirm on the above casting, he chose not to corroborate the information.
