Ram Kapoor and Akanksha Chamola have been in the headlines lately since their entry in Lock Upp season 2, but for their own different reasons. However, this time the two are creating buzz with their distinct opinions on infidelity, where Ram Kapoor claimed that cheating isn’t always a deal breaker if it happens by mistake in marriage and the couple is willing to give their relationship another chance. However, fellow contestant Akanksha Chamola rejected this idea with a strong reply.
During a candid conversation, when Shreya Kalra asked Ram for the solution, when you know your partner cheated on you, then you find a new connection because once the trust is broken, you don’t feel the connection. However, Ram stated that one should rebuild the connection with the same partner and not explore other options. While Shrestha Iyer shared that only married people can speak on this, Akanksha bluntly asked her if she would be okay with her husband getting intimate with other women.
At the same time, explaining his points, Ram said, “If you really love your partner, nothing is a dealbreaker. Marriage is hard, and it’s a journey. You have to work at your marriage every day.” Further, he explains, considering how long the marriage has been, he says, “There are highs and lows, good periods and bad periods, strong phases and weak phases. In a bad phase, if by mistake something happens from any one of you and you can’t live without your partner or your children, and you want the best of family for your kids, then time heals everything, and nothing is a dealbreaker.”
To this, Akanksha Chamola, without hesitation, raises her point, saying, “This thing doesn’t happen by mistake.” However, Ram argues that, “sometimes it does happen by mistake.”
Disagreeing strongly with Ram, Akanksha says, “It’s not a mistake. You are physically intimate with someone; that’s a process. You have to take somebody’s clothes off, take your clothes off, and then do it and finish it off. You cannot say a mistake, it’s not like I kept a knife and I accidentally stabbed you.”
This clash between Ram and Akanksha has got fans talking on the internet. However, infidelity can never be right in a marriage.
