Lock Upp season 2, the survival reality show by Ektaapoot, returns with a ban,g but this time on Netflix. The first episode premiered today, June 27, 2026, and it begins raising the bar from the previous season. Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh introduced the contestants, bringing them locked up in a big prison van. The first seven contestants, beginning with the news maker Sunita Ahuja, then Desi Bling fame Pamela Sarena, TV actress Shivangi Joshi, fashion creator Sufi Motiwala, content creator Shreya Kalra, social media star Riyaz Aly, and Shreyas Iyer’s sister Shreshta Iyer.

Riteish and Farah ruled hearts with their hosting skills as Jailers of the Lock Upp season 2. Riteish planned to ruin the strategies of the contestants while Farah planned to “Achese Wat Lagana”. As hosts, they were impressive, and their tuning was amazing, as they managed to handle the contestants while keeping things lighthearted.

As the contestants looked all ready, Farah made it clear that everyone would have to wash their clothes themselves. Grabbing attention was Dheeraj Dhoopar, the eighth contestant, who tried to run away just to make his entry different. Later, the eight contestants were given a chance to choose their cellmates, with Ram Kapoor first up in the option.

Ram Kapoor brought his fun, unapologetically blunt, and impressive personality that, in the very first episode, triggered reactions. Next up were Yogesh and Akansha, who left everyone confused with their relationship mess. Urfi Javed made a guest appearance and owned the moment on screen.

Likewise, the remaining contestants were introduced from Harshad Chopda, Varun Yadav, Akanksha Chamola, to Madhuri Grover.

The show revealed two big secrets for the fans: one was Harshad Chopda’s secret that his girlfriend cheated on him with his best friend 16 years back, and this is the reason why he keeps himself in his shell, and the second was that actress Akanksha Chamola is getting divorced from her husband Gaurav Khanna, and they have been living separately for the last one year.

However, this time, contestants will have to defend themselves against the allegations against them, which has turned out to be intriguing, promising a mix of tasks, drama, and twists.

Overall, Lock Upp season 2 has just raised the bar and from the very first episode has got fans invested.
