Maharani trailer is making anticipation roar at its best. It has the thrill and the aura that fans have loved for the past three seasons, but this time, the groove is just louder. Huma Qureshi swears a stronger hold as always, getting all the more eager for the showdown in November.

The new season ushers in fresh talent—Rajeshwari Sachdev and Darsheel Safary —bringing intriguing twists that are set to disrupt the lives of familiar characters and inject a thrilling new dimension into the story.

Maharani first drew acclaim for portraying an ordinary woman thrust into Bihar’s ruthless political arena, charting Huma Qureshi’s rise from outsider to astute leader. Blending intense drama with political realism, the series has mirrored real events across its seasons.

Set between 1995 and 1999, the debut season reflected the rise of Rabri Devi, left-wing militancy, the Ranvir Sena, and the Fodder Scam. Season two moved into the late 1990s and early 2000s, exploring the Shilpi-Gautam murder, the emergence of political strategists, and the 2000 Bihar election. The third season continued this mix of fiction and reality, drawing inspiration from Jitan Ram Manjhi’s political journey.

The new season premieres on Sony LIV on November 7.
