Maninee who was on the lookout for a challenging role on the web space has been roped in for Akshay Singh’s new crime thriller series titled Abhay which stars Kunal Khemu in the lead role.
IWMBuzz.com has reported about Fiction Factory coming up with a crime thriller that follows the inverted detective format of story telling.
We at IWMBuzz.com wrote about Kunal Khemu, Elnaaz Norouzi, Sandeepa Dhar, Deepak Tijori, Gopal Singh being roped in for the series.
We also wrote about Sandhya Mridul being part of the series. Now, the latest development is that the deal with Sandhya could not happen eventually, and the role has now gone to Maninee Mishra.
As per a reliable source, “Maninee has begun shoot in Lucknow for the series and this will be a content-driven role for her.”
When contacted, Maninee confirmed the news but did not want to get into details.
We reached out to the spokesperson at ZEE5, but did not get revert.
