From bringing progressive cinema to the forefront to releasing content across genres, ZEE5 has been providing unparalleled entertainment to the audience. TAISH has already made history in 2020 with it being the first OTT release as a six-episode series & a feature film, a one of a kind initiative.

The makers are back with a conceptualized video of TAISH’s superhit song ‘Re Bawree’ with a silhouette that adds the dream in this dreamy video. Directed by Sheetal Menon with singer Sona Mohapatra, Daksha Mashruwala, Yasmin Ponnappa, Nithya Shri and Anwita Bhandari.

Sheetal Menon expresses, “The video brings powerful and inspiring women to the centre stage of storytelling. From Sona lending her melodious voice for the song to Daksha Mashruwala, Yasmin Ponnappa, Nithya Shri and Anwita Bhandari adding magic with their talent. The video would not have been possible without the location that adds the charm to it. I hope the audience enjoys the video as much as they loved watching the content.”

Sona Mohapatra says, “I feel proud to have collaborated with Govind Vasantha of my favourite band Thaikkudam Bridge on this song from TAISH & with a director like Bejoy Nambiar who curates music for his films in a very unique, rare way. The idea behind this music video directed by Sheetal Menon was to celebrate womanhood, her free-spiritedness across ages & it is an honour for me to start 2021 being the heart of such a powerful concept with my voice.”

Bejoy Nambiar says, “This music video is an homage to women and independent artists. I hope viewers shower us with the same love as they did for TAISH. The video is shot beautifully and with Sona’s soulful voice, it is the perfect combination.”

The song ‘Re Bawree’, is a Getaway pictures production, produced by Bejoy Nambiar, music-directed by Govind Vasantha featuring Daksha Mashruwala, Yasmin Ponnappa, Nithya Shri and Anwita Bhandari.

TAISH is a revenge drama between two families that explores the true madness of friendship, passion, relationship and loyalty.
