ZEE5 series Black Widows which has a great ensemble cast lead by Mona Singh and Shamita Shetty is presently on floors.
Based on the Finnish drama of the same name, the ‘Black Widows’ deal includes the rights for the two original 12-hour series (24 episodes). The Indian version will be the eighth international remake following versions in Ukraine, Estonia, Lithuania, the Middle East, Mexico, Scandinavia and the Czech Republic.
The series is produced by Namit Sharma and Big Synergy Media Ltd. The series will also feature Swastika Mukherjee, Sharad Kelkar, Raima Sen, Parambrata Chattopadhyay, Aamir Ali and Sabyasachi Chakraborty, Shoaib Ahmed.
We now hear of Puncch Beat fame Nikhil Bhambri being part of the series.
If sources are to be believed, the young actor will be part of the formidable cast in an interesting role.
