Bollywood actress Radhika Apte is making her mark in the industry. She is known for her outstanding role in Badlapur, Manjhi-The Mountain Man, Andhadhun, Padman, Shor in the City among others.

Radhika till date has starred in three Netflix productions—the anthology film Lust Stories, the thriller series Sacred Games, and the horror miniseries Ghoul.

As per the latest reports, she is all set to feature in Apple’s new series ‘Shantaram’, based on Gregory David Roberts’ bestselling novel. Richard Roxburgh (Moulin Rouge!) and Radhika are set as series regulars opposite Charlie Hunnam. Radhika will play Kavita, a driven Indian journalist looking for answers.

Justin Kurzel (Assassin’s Creed) is set to direct the first two episodes of the 10-episode series. The series is expected to start production in Australia and India in October with a $5 million tax incentive from the Australian government.
