With the indefinite postponement of the eagerly awaited Season 2 of The Family Man, the show’s helmers Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK have quietly moved on to their next series, a quirky thriller about two strangers whose lives intersect unexpectedly.The two protagonists are played by Shahid Kapoor and Vijay Sethupathi.
Sources say Raj and DK have been commissioned by Amazon India to hasten the shooting of the new series.It began ahead of schedule in the last week of January.
“With Tandav on hold for an undisclosed time, Amazon has asked Raj and DK to go ahead with their Shahid-Sethupathi series first. For all we know, it may be streamed before The Family Man 2,” an informed source reveals.
