Top radiologist and Mallika Dua’s mother, Chinna Dua, succumbed to COVID-19. Late on Friday night, veteran journalist Vinod Dua confirmed the unfortunate news on his social media account that Chinna, also known as Padmavati, had passed away.
Chinna was a doctor, singer, and social media influencer.
Vinod and Chinna had both contracted Covid-19 in May and were admitted to a private hospital in Gurugram. Recently, Vinod had shared that they were both recovering from the coronavirus infection and were on the path to recovery.
Several celebrities from the industry expressed shock at her sudden demise and extended condolences to the family in this hour of grief.
