Netflix India has unveiled Kartavya, an intense crime thriller starring Saif Ali Khan as Pawan Malik, a police officer who faces a moral dilemma due to his dedication to duty. The film shows his struggle to fulfil his professional duties while he tries to keep his family safe from the growing dangers in central India.
The film showcases Pulkit’s directorial skills, for which he received recognition for his work on Bhakshak, through his ability to create a powerful story featuring exceptional acting talent. Rasika Dugal, Sanjay Mishra, Zakir Hussain and Manish Chaudhari complete the cast with their outstanding performances. The project gained special interest because of journalist Saurabh Dwivedi, who will make his first appearance as an actor.
Kartavya is all set to be produced by Gauri Khan under the banners of Red Chillies Entertainment, which marks another ambitious partnership between the production company and Netflix. The streaming giant announced the film as part of its 2026 content slate for India.
