Samarth Shandilya teams up with Junaid Khan for his next short film

Actor turned Producer Samarth Shandilya is gearing up for his next short film. His earlier-made short film Lappad has won praise and awards at the global level. Going with the new trend of working on short films, Samarth Shandilya we hear, has begun work on his next.

Shandilya who recently won an award at an International Film Festival with biggies like Shabana Azmi, Divya Dutta etc is now preparing for another short film to be shot in Goa.

News coming to us is that he is partnering with Junaid Khan, a Kolkata-based entrepreneur who owns a supercar showroom.

We hear that the short film that is being planned will be a subtle thriller keeping the picturesque Goa in the backdrop.

We buzzed Samarth, but did not get through to him.

For the uninitiated, Lappad, the short film, produced by Samarth Shandilya and co-produced by Nitesh Galani who helms Dubai’s leading line producing company AMP and directed by Tushar Tyagi played at South West Dallas Film Festival in USA and will also at Australian Film Festival.
