Hostage 2, the crime thriller web-series created by Applause Entertainment for Hotstar Specials, is all set to launch the second season.

Produced by Banijay Asia and directed by Sudhir Mishra, season 1 had a stellar cast including Ronit Roy, Tisca Chopra, Parvin Dabas, Aashim Gulati.

Now, the new season will have two new actresses.

News coming in is that Shibani Dandekar (Roy) and Divya Dutta (Bhaag Milkha Bhaag) will be part of the above-mentioned project.

We buzzed Shibani, she asked us to call later and Divya remained unavailable.

We reached out to the spokesperson at Applause Entertainment and Hotstar but could not get a response.
