Director Ali Abbas Zafar is set to venture into the digital space with Amazon Prime Video’s Tandav, a political thriller series, penned by Article 15 co-writer Gaurav Solanki.

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan will be starring as a politician who aspires to become a Prime Minister.

The political drama will see Purab Kohli and Kriti Kamra in critical roles. It is being said that the web series will begin streaming in 2020. The drama thriller, with an ensemble cast, will have 11-12 primary characters with three-four parallel tracks running across eight episodes.

Now, we have exclusive information about actors Shonali Nagrani (Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi), Paresh Pahuja (Tiger Zinda Hai), Sunil Grover (Baaghi), Sarah Jane Dias (Kyaa Super Kool Hai) and Shobhit Johri (Bharat) being part of the series. They will play pivotal roles in the storyline.

We buzzed Shonali, Paresh, Sunil, Sarah and Shobhit but could not get through them for a comment.

Amazon Prime spokesperson did not revert to our query till the time of filing the article.
