Work on Netflix Originals’ grand series that will explore the journey of the character of Sivagami, as a prequel to Baahubali is presently on!!

The series Baahubali: Before the Beginning based on Anand Neelakantan’s book, The Rise of Sivagami has been announced recently, and the euphoria to see the prequel story has been growing in the minds of viewers since then.

News coming to IWMBuzz.com is that talented actress Snigdha Akolkar who was recently seen in the Vikram Bhatt web-series, Zakhmi in the role of an antagonist has been roped in for the big Netflix series.

As per sources, “Snigdha will be part of the Netflix Originals series, Baahubali: Before the Beginning. She will play a powerful role.”

We buzzed Snigdha but could not reach out to her.

Netflix has teamed up with the team behind Baahubali, including Arka Media Works and Mr. Rajamouli. Deva Katta and Praveen Sataru will co-direct the series.
