IWMBuzz.com exclusively reported about Jio Studios and Drishyam Films shooting a film concept titled ‘Pind Daan’ which will have a huge ensemble cast.
We wrote about actors Vikrant Massey, Naseeruddin Shah, Vinay Pathak, Manoj Pahwa, Konkana Sen, Deepika Amin and Ninad Kamat being in the film.
We now hear of senior actress Supriya Pathak too being part of the cast.
Supriya Pathak needs no introduction!! She has had a vast career in films and has been part of many successful movies like Kalyug, Vijeta, Bazaar, Masoom, Mirch Masala, Shahenshah, Arjun, Sarkar, Wake Up Sid, Goliyon Ki Rasleela – Ram Leela, Sarkar 3 etc.
As per a source, “Supriya Pathak is presently in Lucknow shooting for the film.”
If sources are to be believed, Pind Daan will eventually stream on the web space.
The film will be directed by actor Seema Pahwa.
We reached out to the spokesperson at Jio Studios and Drishyam Films but did not get through to them.
