Resonance Digital, founded by Abhyudaya Grover is working on a web show on Medieval warrior King Chhatrasal. He fought with Mughal emperor Aurangzeb and laid the foundation of his own kingdom in Bundelkhand.
We earlier reported that apparently, the show is pitched to Netflix and most probably will stream on the same platform. However, the final decision is pending.
We also exclusively informed audience that Jitin Gulati, Rudra Soni, Ashutosh Rana and Manish Wadhwa will be part of the project.
Now, we have learnt about the female lead of the show.
Pretty actress Vaibhavi Shandilya, who is known for her vast body of work in Marathi and Tamil films, will play the titular role in the web-series.
The young lass, known for her movies like Server Sundaram, Sakka Podu Podu Raja and Janiva, will play the role of King Chhatrasal’s wife Dev Kunwari, Ruhaani Bai.
We buzzed Vaibhavi, but did not get to hear from her.
