Vikram Bhatt, the ace content maker for films, television and the digital space, will soon add yet another feather to his cap.
Vikram, who has given the digital platform many successful series like Gehraiyaan, Spotlight, Maya, Twisted and the upcoming Untouchables, on varied platforms on the digital space will soon come up with a content platform of his own, a new app which will offer high quality shows.
A credible source tells us, “The app will be tentatively called ‘VB App’. The application will mostly launch in January next year (2018).”
We also hear that Untouchables, the murder cum court room drama series, that is presently being shot by Vikram Bhatt will be the first series to be premiered on the app. Untouchables has Vikram Bhatt playing the central role. The series is being directed by Krishna Bhatt, daughter of Vikram Bhatt.
Vikram has made shows for OTT network Viu and also has a channel on Youtube (VB on the Web).. However, he aims to go solo and create his own content platform a la Alt Balaji with VB App, thus emerging one of the major players in the growing OTT universe in India.
