Jio Studios and Drishyam Films will associate for a film which will have a great ensemble cast.
Titled ‘Pind Daan’, the movie will be directed by veteran actress Seema Pahwa who is known for her acting chops in TV shows Hum Log, Kasamh Se and Hum Ladkiyaan. She has had a vast career in movies and has starred in Sardari Begum, Godmother, Tere Bin Laden, All is Well, Shubh Mangal Savdhan etc.
The cast of the film will have popular actors Vikrant Massey, Naseeruddin Shah, Vinay Pathak, Manoj Pahwa, Konkana Sen, Deepika Amin and Ninad Kamat.
The shoot for the film has commenced in Lucknow.
We buzzed Director Seema Pahwa who confirmed the news of her directing the feature film.
Actors Vinay Pathak and Manoj Pahwa confirmed their presence while the other actors were unavailable for comment.
We reached out to the spokesperson at Jio Studios and Drishyam Films, but could not get through to them.
