As per news coming in, Viraf Patel has joined the cast of Bodhi Tree’s (helmed by Sukesh Motwani and Mautik Tolia) upcoming web –series for Viu India.
Yes, you heard it right!!
As we know, the elegant and beautiful Shriya Pilgaonkar will play the lead in the thriller web-series, Sins of a Father (tentative title). The series also has senior actor Naved Aslam in a crucial role with Teena Singh (Tere Liye Bro) also donning an interesting avatar.
Media reports suggested that Harman Singha, the brother of Rannvijay Singha has been roped in to play the male lead in the series.
But we have gotten to know that Harman has been replaced, and his part will now be played by Viraf Patel.
As per credible sources, “Viraf will play a very characteristic role; it will be one of the most well-defined characters he has played.”
We buzzed Viraf but could not get through to him.
We reached out to the spokesperson at Viu India, but did not get revert till we filed our story.
Viraf, known for his exceptional performances has been part of TV shows Mahi Way, Rishta.com, Ek Boond Ishq, with his recent outing being Naamkarann.
