Actor and Casting Director Devtosh Mukherjee wishes to start his own production house and live his dreams. Starting his journey at a young age, he has reached decent milestones with the support of his family and friends from the industry.
Talking about his journey so far, he avers, “I belong to a middle-class family from Aligarh (Utter Pradesh). I left my hometown and came to Mumbai to achieve something big in life. I am glad that I am part of the TV industry to which I have given my 3 years. I started my journey at a young age and managed to work with various production houses. I have learnt a lot from every production house. I started my work as a Television artist have done lots of serials like Muskaan, Daman Mitti ka, Savdhaan India etc. I have always focused on my work and given my best. I am also happy that production houses have appreciated my work and have given me opportunities in my life.”
When asked who has been his support in the industry, he shares, “I have always been supported by the people from production houses. I have now opened my casting company (Casting 24/7 Casting Co.) and work as a Casting Director. I have worked as a casting assistant earlier and have gone through the nuances. I think it has been a give and take relationship with some great people in this industry.”
Devtosh feels that Abhishek Arora & Vishal Gupta (Casting Director) are his inspiration in the field, he says, “I am inspired by Ankit Jaiswal (Executive Producer), Vishal Gupta(Casting Director), Sonu Singh Rajput(Casting Director). They have had an amazing and inspiring journey in this industry. I see myself starting my own production house as that is my dream.”
