Bhuvan became the first Indian individual YouTube content creator to cross 10 million subscribers in 2018. Bhuvan was born in Gujarat and his family later moved to Delhi. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College. Bhuvan Bam started his career as a musician, performing in restaurants, and later started composing his own songs.

He started his internet career with the sarcastic video of a news reporter who asked a woman insensitive questions regarding the death of her son due to the Kashmir floods. His first video went viral in Pakistan, inspiring Bam to create his own YouTube channel.

Bhuvan’s Youtube channel BB Ki Vines have 2–8 minutes long videos which depict the life of an urban teenager, and his whimsical conversations with his friends and family – all played by Bam himself.

Bhuvan won the award for the Most Popular Channel on YouTube at the WebTVAsia Awards. The film Plus-Minus, which featured Bhuvan, won the People’s Choice Award for Best Short Film at the Filmfare 2019.

The reason behind his massive popularity lies in his unique writing skill and originality. His sketches resemble many people’s personal experience and he weaves stories around day to day familiar sequences.
