Applause Entertainment, India’s top content studio, has announced a collaboration with Andolan Films led by Vikramaditya Motwane. Together, they will embark on an exciting journey of innovative storytelling. This partnership is a significant milestone as two giants in the entertainment industry join forces to launch two ambitious projects, reviving the art of storytelling.

Check out “Indi(r)a’s Emergency,” a gripping three-part docu-series that delves into one of the most pivotal moments in India’s post-independence history: The Emergency. Narrated by Swanand Kirkire, this contemporary historical exploration blends archival footage with animation to vividly portray the events that rocked the nation.

The second series is based on the book “Black Warrant – Confessions of a Tihar Jailer” by Sunil Gupta and Sunetra Choudhury. It gives a peek into the secrets and intrigue surrounding Tihar, India’s biggest and notorious prison, and the prisoners held there. This intense drama is narrated from the perspective of a young jailer.
