In today’s time, ‘true love’ has become a rare thing, but the highlight is that it still exists. But what does true love mean? There is no particular definition, but it’s unconditional, and such is the story of Quick TV’s latest micro-drama, Psycho Biwi. The drama in a familiar plot shows what true love means in perfectly shot sequences packed in small episodes.
The story introduces a dedicated husband, Siddharth. He works like a servant for his wife Natasha, but the latter has no value for that. After five years of bearing it all just to save Natasha, Siddharth finally decides to set Natasha free and go to her first love, Ricky.
Natasha, unaware of her actions and not taking Siddharth seriously, signs the divorce papers just to later discover the truth and regret. While the plot is familiar, small surprises are packed in entertaining sequences and twists, saving the overall experience.
The familiar micro-drama thrives on strong performances, especially by Karanvir Bohra. In the role of Siddharth, a dedicated lover who isn’t just a person mad in love, but he is a genius; however, after betrayal, he decides to make his own identity, and this whole situation makes the drama interesting, with Karamvir bringing in that emotional depth, charm, and spark in his role.
Actress Ishika Makhija as Natasha brings in her innocence and layered character. Her performance makes the show engaging, while Aabhaas Mehta as Ricky is the catalyst in the story. The direction is good, and the cinematography is decent.
Overall, the story engagingly shows why Siddharth’s wife is a psycho—as she loses Siddharth for a person like Ricky. However, the end will surprise you, and the drama will keep you invested. So it’s a good one-time shot.
