Ekta Kapoor has launched the poster and trailer of her new web series M.O.M.- Mission Over Mars on her birthday which would be streamed on Alt Balaji and ZEE5's platform. This story is inspired by the women who are behind India's successful Mangalyaan Mission.

The star cast of the show includes Sakshi Tanwar, Mona Singh, Nidhi Singh, and Palomi Ghosh. The show revolves around the story of these four women scientist involved in India’s Mars Orbiter Mission launched in the year 2013.
It is a fictitious tale of the same event. Ashish Vidyarthi and Mohan Joshi would also be seen in pivotal roles.

Sakshi Tanwar plays the role of Nandita Hariprasad, the Mission coordinator of M.O.M. Her acting skills can be seen in the lines she delivered effortlessly in the trailer. She is playing an independent woman scientist who is disciplined and has the attitude of hard taskmaster besides being a caring mother.

Mona Singh is playing the role of Moshi, a scientist at ISA (Indian space agency). She has been cast as a warrior and a hardcore competitive scientist who wants everything best around her.

She told on her social media handles that she has played a scientist for the first time. And that too with a Bengali accent in the series which made the role even the more challenging.

She said that all the ladies of the series were so much into the skin of their characters that they were almost living, breathing and thinking about the show and their role all the while.

Palomi Ghosh, who has won a National Award in 2015 for her role of a Goan musician, is also playing a scientist at ISA.

Nidhi Singh is also portraying the character of scientist passionate for the accomplishment of her mission with her colleagues.

The series focuses on how the four powerful ladies eradicate all the troubles and obstacles to win the task that made India proud. It showcases the multidimensional lives of these ladies who lead to the role of wives, daughters, mothers and the space scientists.
