Mirzapur- The best Indian Web Series Made Till Date

2018 was a big year for internet television with Amazon Prime and Netflix upping the web series game, and series like Sacred Games and Mirzapur have definitely been raising the stake of digital content in India. Mirzapur is the very series that was successful in keeping viewers awake all night because no one could stop themselves after watching the pilot episode!

The plot of Mirzapur revolves around the iron-fisted Akhadanand Tripathi who is a millionaire carpet exporter and all too well known as the mafia don of Mirzapur. Pankaj Tripathi has been acing every role in Bollywood with movies like Gangs of Wasseypur, Stree, Fukrey, Masaan, Fukrey Returns and many other movies where his character shone high and mighty. In Mirzapur he plays the sinister Akhandanand Tripathi with such ease that it has given this series a new flavour in itself.

There’s guns and galore in the series all through the 9 episodes, and sometimes ends up firing on too many fronts, but the audience doesn’t care! Mirzapur is rife with performances of some of the finest actors like Ali Fazal (plays Guddu) and Vijrant Massey (plays Bablu) and their power-packed character portrayal with wickedly funny dialogues and script has taken the show on a whole new level, making sure it always remains engaging and entertaining to the viewers.

Fans are all too excited and waiting with baited breath for the season 2 to air because it looks like this season will be lit and full of bloodshed, and we will be seeing the real drama unfold in the mafia clan. This crime drama has encapsulated one and all with its season 1 and we are certain that it is indeed one of the best Web series to have ever been made in India.
