Another name for being single – is a struggle. The characters are struggling to have a lavish life of being recognized in their particular field of interest. This series has a blend of friendship, comedy and intimate relationships between a friend circle. This series shows a medium for earning gross in many ways and a humbug neighbor trying to ruin their lives.
Capturing the lives of six single individuals, the show is based on the story of their friendships, struggles and juggads in a new city.
Connecting with these emotions is a show that portrays the lives of the youngsters whose life has evolved – from living as a bachelor to making a mark in this evolving industry. RJ Deepti Sati has five friends, Mickey, Raapchik Appu, Harman, and Riyaz. The six live in two flats of her dad’s building. Partly because they don’t have money to pay the rent and partly because Riyaz can’t get home in Mumbai because of his religion. As the six traverses through urban life, they experience and handle heartbreak, rebellion, love, friendship and come to terms with their lives.
What’s Wow: Only For Singles is a breezy, light-hearted view with some at par performances. The best thing about the series is that it tackles all the problems that millennials face – right from not getting a house on rent to not being taken seriously by parents – in a simple, light screenplay. This is a series with a young vibe and will cater to a young audience. The writer, Chirag Mahabal, conjures up a quick story that’s as light as they come.
