The video streaming service providers and Over the top content developers have been fighting and working hard to make sure that it’s their content that the youngster’s binge watch. In fact, the streaming services have even started developing their own, original, content.
Ekta Kapoor’s Alt Balaji joined this bandwagon in 2017 and truth be told, it has been winning over the audience with its fresh content and never-seen-before pairing. Their newest upcoming web series, Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala, is their latest testament to this.
Featuring TV’s sweetheart Divyanka Tripathi, hottie Rajeev Khandelwal, and Bong babe Barkha Bist, Coldd Lassi aur Chicken Masala is a love story that will see the former two as chefs. Divyanka Tripathi even shared their first looks on her Twitter feed and suffice it to say, that the evident sizzling chemistry has left fans ultra-excited to see the pair work together. The fans have even come up with “DivRaj” to address the pair. Tripathi has even managed to grow a buzz around the show with some guess gamed and some behind the scene pictures of herself and Rajeev straight from Cod Lassi aur Chicken Masala’s sets.
Written by Jaya Mishra, the series marks Tripathi’s debut in the digital space while this is Khandelwal’s third collaboration with AltBalaji. In the series, Divyanka and Rajeev are shown as management students dealing with love and betrayal.
CLACM is currently being shot and the charming actress Navneet Nishan has also been roped in. There are also rumors that Karan Singh Chabra will also make a cameo appearance in the series.
